Maintenance Officer

Responsibilities:

• Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance on fitness equipment, gym facilities, and other operational areas to ensure everything is functioning properly.
• Address and resolve any maintenance issues promptly, including repairing gym equipment, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, lighting, and general building repairs.
• Ensure that the facility adheres to health, safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Address any safety concerns immediately and make necessary repairs to prevent accidents.
• Oversee the proper functioning and servicing of all gym equipment, including cardio machines, weights, and machines used for fitness programs.
• Manage the cleanliness and general appearance of the gym facilities, including restrooms, changing rooms, and common areas.
• Maintain an inventory of tools, maintenance supplies, and replacement parts.
• Ensure that materials are available when needed and that stock levels are regularly monitored.
• Be available to respond to emergencies, including equipment breakdowns, facility hazards, or urgent repairs.
• Ensure issues are resolved quickly to minimize downtime.
• Monitor energy usage in the facility and suggest ways to reduce energy consumption, including maintenance of lighting, heating, and cooling systems.

Requirements:

• SSCE certificate is required
• At least 1 year of working experience
