The Maintenance / Project Planner is responsible for developing, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance and project activities to ensure optimal asset performance and timely project delivery. This role bridges operational maintenance with capital or improvement projects by creating detailed work plans, tracking progress, managing resources.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed plans and schedules for maintenance activities (preventive, predictive, and corrective) and capital projects.
- Coordinate with operations, engineering, and project teams to ensure seamless integration of maintenance and project schedules.
- Update and adjust plans based on shifting priorities, asset conditions, or project changes.
- Identify resource requirements (personnel, equipment, materials) for both maintenance tasks and projects.
- Assist in budgeting and cost estimation for maintenance activities and project execution.
- Monitor resource utilization and project progress to ensure adherence to budgets and timelines.
- Prepare detailed work orders, project plans, and maintenance schedules using planning and project management software.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, planned outages, project milestones, and deviations.
- Generate regular status reports to inform stakeholders of schedule performance and potential risks.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and contractors, to schedule work without disrupting operations.
- Ensure effective communication of scheduled maintenance and project activities to all relevant parties.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to reviews of project progress, challenges, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify areas for process optimization in maintenance planning and project scheduling.
- Recommend and implement improvements in tools, procedures, or workflows to enhance scheduling efficiency and project delivery.
- Ensure that all planning activities comply with regulatory standards and internal quality requirements.
Requirements:
- At least 6 years of experience
- BSc. Degree in a relevant course of study
