Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Undertake routine preventative maintenance and respond promptly to reactive maintenance requirements.
• Oversee and, where applicable, supervise the activities of contractors and artisans
• Constantly carry out checks to ensure all machines and equipment are safe, in optimum condition at all times, and continually maintained and operating according to standard requirements.
• Ensure that all malfunctions and disrepair are reported to the manager promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, and equipment history, and forecast future maintenance needs.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and resolve maintenance-related issues that impact productivity and efficiency.
• Inspect offices at the close of business to ensure all equipment is properly turned off when not in use.
• Prioritize work schedules to ensure timely follow-up of all job requests.
• Maintain an acceptable log of planned and executed maintenance activity.
• Performs other tasks, functions, or duties as may, from time to time, be assigned by the Manager

Requirements:

• You must have a good knowledge of electrical and plumbing tasks.
• You must have good communication skills (both written and verbal)
• You must have the ability to manage a team
• You must be able to multitask
