Male Home Nurse

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications, injections, or treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
• Assist with wound care, dressing changes, and other clinical procedures.
• Manage chronic conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, and mobility issues.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare providers for continuity of care.
• Support clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide assistance with mobility, including transfers, walking, and exercises.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary needs are met.
• Build a trusting relationship with clients to provide companionship and emotional support.
• Engage in recreational activities or hobbies that interest the client to promote mental well-being.
• Communicate effectively with family members to keep them updated on the client’s condition.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Assist with shopping, errands, and transportation to medical appointments or social outings.
• Ensure the home is equipped with the necessary medical supplies and equipment.
• Recognize and address potential hazards in the home to prevent accidents.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and administer first aid when necessary.
• Keep detailed records of care provided and report any changes in the client’s condition to healthcare providers or family members.

Requirements:

• Only male candidates should apply for this position
• Minimum of 4 years experience as a nurse or caregiver
• BSc. in Medicine or nursing should apply for this role.
