We seek a dedicated and experienced Facility Manager to join our team.
Role Overview:
The Facility Manager will be responsible for the overall management and maintenance of the mall’s facilities. This includes ensuring that the physical environment is safe, efficient, and well-maintained. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a proactive approach to managing facility operations, tenant relations, and support services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day maintenance, repair, and operations of the mall facilities.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans to ensure efficient operations.
- Manage and supervise the facility management team, including external contractors and service providers.
- Coordinate security, cleaning, and landscaping services to maintain a welcoming environment.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Monitor and control budgets related to facility maintenance and utilities.
- Respond to tenant inquiries and address facility-related issues promptly.
- Prepare and present facility management reports to senior management.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in facility management or a similar role, preferably within a retail or commercial property setting.
- Strong understanding of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire safety.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
- Proficiency in facility management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Relevant certifications in Facility Management (e.g., IFMA, BIFM) are an added advantage.
