Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the language school, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning.
- Oversee and support teachers, ensuring alignment with the school’s educational standards and goals.
- Coordinate class schedules, resources, and student registration.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and student satisfaction.
- Manage budgets and administrative tasks, ensuring financial accountability.
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Ensure compliance with educational regulations and school policies.
- Handle student and parent inquiries, maintaining a professional and customer-oriented attitude.
- Drive marketing and recruitment efforts to promote the school’s programs and attract new students.
Requirements:
- HND/Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a management role, preferably in education or language schools.
- Knowledge of language learning principles, especially related to German, is highly desirable.
- Proven leadership skills with a focus on team development, conflict resolution, and motivation.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and handle multiple priorities.
Additional Skills:
- Fluency in German is an asset.
- Familiarity with educational technology and tools for language learning.
- Experience in marketing or business development within the education sector.
- Strong soft skills such as empathy, patience, and the ability to inspire and motivate others.
