Job Summary
The Marine Superintendent's primary role is to ensure safe operations of the vessel during SPS and compliance to the relevant international marine requirements. He/She is also responsible for conducting pre-vetting inspection on board the vessel and also conduct incident investigation on board the vessel.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Supervise all marine-related activities, including inspections, repairs, and certifications.
- Liaise with the classification society (ABS) and flag state authorities for survey compliance.
- Oversee stability calculations, ballast operations, and anchor handling procedures.
- Monitor the performance of marine systems such as propulsion, mooring, and navigation equipment.
- Conduct crew training and ensure operational readiness post-SPS.
- Provide daily marine operation reports and a final compliance and readiness report.
Requirements:
- 5+ years in marine operations (offshore/marine projects).
- Strong knowledge of ABS regulations and vessel management.
- Strong understanding of IMO, SOLAS, class regulations (ABS), and flag state requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master Mariner or Chief Engineer certification.
- Prior experience in Special Periodic Surveys (SPS) projects for Jack-Up Lift Boats or similar offshore units.
