Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy Development:
- Assist in developing and executing comprehensive marketing plans and campaigns to achieve business objectives.
- Conduct market research to identify consumer trends, competitor activity, and opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with the team to create content, develop messaging, and determine the best channels to reach our target audience.
Digital Marketing:
- Manage and optimize online marketing campaigns across digital platforms such as social media, email, search engines, and the company website.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance metrics for digital campaigns (e.g., traffic, conversion rates, engagement).
- Collaborate with design and content teams to create engaging digital content, including social media posts, blog articles, and email newsletters.
Brand Awareness and Positioning:
- Help maintain a consistent brand image and message across all marketing materials and channels.
- Develop and execute strategies for increasing brand recognition and positioning in the marketplace.
- Assist with events, promotions, and other marketing activities to drive visibility and engagement.
Content Creation and Copywriting:
- Create persuasive and engaging marketing content, including advertisements, email campaigns, blogs, and product descriptions.
- Ensure all content is aligned with the brand’s tone and values, and is optimized for SEO when applicable.
Social Media Management:
- Manage and update the company’s social media profiles, ensuring regular, relevant, and engaging posts.
- Engage with followers and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Analyze social media performance and implement strategies for improvement.
Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with the sales and product teams to understand product offerings and customer pain points.
- Coordinate with external vendors and agencies to support marketing initiatives and ensure deliverables are met on time.
- Assist in organizing and executing marketing events, trade shows, and webinars.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Track and measure the success of marketing campaigns, and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Prepare reports for senior management that detail campaign performance and ROI.
- Monitor competitor marketing activities and adjust strategies accordingly.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
- Proven experience in marketing, preferably in a similar industry.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media.
- Proficiency in marketing tools and software (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, Mailchimp, Hootsuite).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative thinking with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus but not required.

Remuneration: NGN 100,000
