Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the company's overall objectives.
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, and social media.
- Coordinate the creation and distribution of marketing materials to a targeted audience
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences. Use this information to develop marketing strategies and make data-driven decisions.
- Source advertising opportunities and manage digital marketing activities, including social media campaigns, email marketing, SEO, and online advertising.
- Stay updated on digital marketing trends and best practices.
- Develop and create engaging and relevant content for various marketing channels, such as blog posts, social media updates, and website content.
- Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials and channels. Contribute to building and maintaining a strong brand image.
- Use analytics tools to track and measure the success of marketing campaigns. Prepare reports and provide insights to the sales & marketing manager and MD on key performance metrics.
- Manage customer data, track interactions, and identify opportunities for engagement and retention.
- Plan and coordinate marketing events, trade shows, and exhibitions to promote the company and its products or services including attending such events to conduct market research.
- Work with the marketing budget, ensuring that campaigns are executed within budget constraints and providing financial justification for marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate with sales and other departments to align marketing strategies with overall business objectives.
- Monitor and analyze competitor activities to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Use this information to adjust marketing strategies accordingly.
- Implement strategies for the generation of new customers, working closely with the sales team to ensure a steady flow of qualified leads.
- Manage and maintain the company's social media profiles. Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Collect and analyze customer feedback to understand customer satisfaction levels and make improvements to marketing strategies.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and changes in consumer behavior to ensure that marketing strategies remain relevant and effective.
- Track slow-moving products and create sales promotion activities to increase sales
- Keep relevant company personnel (including the MD) informed of relevant updates and events
- Support with any other company duties as and when required.
Requirements:
- HND or BSc in marketing, business administration, media studies, communications, information systems, or similar
- Computer literate with good working knowledge of MS Office applications
- Good understanding & use of digital marketing tools such as social media
- Good analytical skills and creative thinking
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal & networking skills
- Strong negotiation and time management skills
- Customer focused
- Good team player
- Ability to work without supervision
- Strong proactive skills
