Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to support the company's business goals and revenue growth.
- Lead all branding, promotional, and advertising efforts in line with SLOT’s brand identity and market positioning.
- Plan and manage marketing campaigns, product launches, activations, events, and seasonal promotions.
- Collaborate with sales, procurement, and retail teams to design marketing initiatives that increase product uptake.
- Manage relationships with OEMs, vendors, media houses, influencers, and advertising agencies.
- Oversee digital marketing activities, including content marketing, SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance, customer insights, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Supervise the production of marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, newsletters, banners, and radio jingles.
- Maintain and update SLOT’s website and ensure accurate product and campaign information is available.
- Work with the compliance team to ensure all campaigns adhere to relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost efficiency and optimal ROI for all initiatives.
- Train and manage the performance of junior marketing staff and external consultants/agencies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, or any related field.
- A Master’s degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CIM, NIMN, Digital Marketing Institute) is an advantage
- Additional training in marketing, customer engagement, or consumer protection regulations is a plus.
- Knowledge of branding, product positioning, and market research.
- 5-7 years of progressive experience in marketing, preferably within the retail, FMCG, electronics, or telecommunications industry.
- Proven track record of managing successful campaigns and product launches.
- Experience working with OEMs, third-party vendors, and external agencies.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, marketing operations, and regulatory frameworks.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to develop and execute marketing plans.
- Strong project management skills – able to handle multiple campaigns and deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Strong understanding of traditional and digital marketing channels.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
- Creative thinker with strong project management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Ads, email marketing platforms, and CRM systems.
