Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving FundR’s growth by identifying and acquiring new B2B clients, managing relationships, and maximizing merchant transaction volumes.
Key Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have experience in all stages of the sales cycle, confident with building new client relationship and maintaining existing ones and have evidence of strong skills and possess good negotiation skills.
- Market Research & Lead Generation: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients in the B2B space. Build and maintain a pipeline of high-quality leads.
- Client Acquisition: Engage with key decision-makers in target organizations, understand their payment needs, and present tailored solutions that highlight FundR’s value proposition.
- Sales Presentations & Negotiations: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations. Lead negotiations, address client concerns, and secure contracts that meet company objectives.
- Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and fostering loyalty. Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts.
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and execute strategies for market penetration and revenue growth. Manage the sales process from prospecting to closing deals.
- Market & Competitive Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings. Provide insights to the product and marketing teams to help refine FundR’s solutions.
- Performance Reporting: Track and report on sales activities, pipeline status, and client interactions using the CRM system. Provide regular updates to management on sales performance, forecasts, and strategic opportunities.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer success teams to ensure seamless onboarding and high client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably within the fintech industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong understanding of fintech products and services, particularly in payments and financial management.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.

Salary Range: ₦3,000,000.00 - ₦3,600,000.00 per annum + commission
