Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:
  • Monitoring the sales performance of the store and strategizing efficient techniques to sell goods and services to customers.
  • Handle the budget and resource allocation for the project plans and ensure that the outputs meet quality standards and deadlines.
  • Marketing Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans to increase revenue, market share, and brand awareness.
  • Work with Category Managers to develop pricing strategies based on competitors’ prices, customer willingness to pay, and company cost structures.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential opportunities for growth in existing and new markets.
  • Drive traffic and sales through effective local store marketing initiatives, including print, digital, social media, in-store events, and grassroots marketing.
  • Design advertising campaigns that create brand awareness, generate leads and promote sales.
  • Create an effective store environment that attracts customers with visual appeal, comfort, and convenience.
  • Meet with store managers to discuss performance metrics and identify problem areas.
  • Analyze data to identify opportunities for increasing store traffic and sales.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance and support to facilitate their professional growth and development.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement within the marketing department.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to ensure high-performance standards are met.
  • Reporting and Communication: Prepare clear and concise marketing reports detailing performance metrics, strategies, and action plans.
  • Present marketing strategies and performance reports to senior management. 


Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field is required.
  • A master's degree or professional certification will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in marketing management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. 
  • Preferably applicants who are from the Eastern part of Nigeria and resides around Festac and its environs.
  • Strong understanding of marketing strategies, market research techniques, and budget management.
  • Proven experience in developing sales and marketing strategies and making sales presentations.
  • Experience in the FMCG industry is required.
