Sectional Head (Cement Mill) - Instrumentation Department

Job Objective

Oversee the instrumentation systems and processes in the Cement Mill to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Ensure the effective management and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems in the Cement Mill
• Coordinate the calibration and validation of instruments to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Lead troubleshooting efforts during equipment malfunctions and provide solutions to instrumentation issues
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes, enhancing overall efficiency
• Implement best practices for instrumentation maintenance and operations
• Prepare and maintain documentation for instrumentation systems and ensure it is up to date
• Monitor process parameters to ensure compliance with production quality standards
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations in all instrumentation operations
• Train and mentor junior staff on instrumentation best practices and safety measures
  
  
  

Requirements

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field
• Professional certifications in automation or instrumentation will be an added advantage
  
  
  

Work Experience

• Minimum of eight years (8) years relevant work experience in instrumentation, preferably in the cement or manufacturing industry
