Maths and Science Key Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Planning and presenting lessons to facilitate students' understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
• Preparing and distributing learning material such as notes, assignments, and quizzes.
• Sourcing the resources and supplies needed for lessons.
• Ensuring that the classroom remains safe and conducive to learning.
• Grading assignments and quizzes in a timely manner.
• Invigilating quizzes and final examinations.
• Documenting and reporting on students' progress.
• Attending meetings with parents and staff.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
• Proven teaching experience, preferably as a Math and Science teacher.
• Strong understanding of mathematical and scientific concepts and their applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Proficiency in using educational technology and tools to enhance learning.
• Ability to create and deliver engaging, student-centered lesson plans.
• Strong classroom management skills to maintain a safe and conducive learning environment.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills to manage lesson planning, grading, and reporting.
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Familiarity with curriculum standards and requirements for Mathematics and Science at the relevant educational level.
• A passion for teaching and inspiring students to achieve their academic potential.
• Relevant teaching certifications or licenses (if applicable).
• Willingness to attend professional development sessions and contribute to school initiatives.
