We seek to hire a Mechanical Engineer who will oversee the operations of a plant and all its technical and administrative functions.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of power plant equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Design, implement, and manage mechanical systems to improve plant processes.
- Lead and supervise a team of engineers and technicians, ensuring adherence to safety and operational standards.
- Troubleshoot mechanical or electrical issues within the plant, providing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of systems and compliance with technical requirements.
- Monitor and analyze plant performance data, recommending improvements where necessary.
- Develop and enforce preventive maintenance schedules to extend the lifespan of plant equipment.
- Prepare and present detailed technical and managerial reports to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and environmental standards applicable to the power plant.
- Participate in strategic planning for future projects and upgrades.
Requirements:
- A mechanical or electrical engineer with over 5-7 years experience as a power plant manager
- Leadership prowess.
- Good verbal and communication skills
- Excellent managerial skills
- Excellent knowledge of either mechanical or electrical skills then intermediate knowledge of the other
- Available to work in shagamu
