Mechanical Fabricator

• Prepare and assemble mechanical systems and components for various projects
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine the necessary materials and processes
• Fabricate, modify, and repair machinery, equipment, and structural components using tools and machines
• Utilize welding techniques and equipment to join metal parts and ensure structural integrity
• Conduct quality inspections on fabricated components to ensure they meet required specifications and standards
• Maintain a tidy and organized workspace, ensuring safety in accordance with workplace regulations
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize fabrication processes
• Participate in the development of new fabrication techniques and the continuous improvement of existing ones
• Document all fabrication processes and maintain accurate records of materials used
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and procedures while performing tasks
  
  
  

Requirements

• HND/OND in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in mechanical fabrication or related areas
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques and fabrication standards
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
• Ability to operate and maintain various fabrication tools and equipment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to mechanical fabrication
