Job Summary
The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer carries out preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment aboard the client's marine vessel and in the shipyard, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with applicable maritime regulations.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment aboard client’s marine vessel in the shipyard.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults in marine propulsion, hydraulic, and auxiliary systems.
- Assist in the installation and modification of mechanical components.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities and equipment status.
- Ensure compliance with maritime safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field or, Technical certificate with hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with marine mechanical tools and equipment.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
AdditionalSkills:
- Experience working with marine engines, winches, and shipboard systems.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems used in vessels.
- Certification in workplace safety and maritime regulations.
