Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Market Research:
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities in the medical aesthetics industry in Nigeria.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies that align with the clinic’s growth goals.
  • Prepare detailed market analysis reports and recommend actionable strategies to senior management.

Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential clients, including individuals, corporate accounts, and partnerships with healthcare providers.
  • Actively seek new business opportunities through networking, lead generation, cold calling, and strategic partnerships.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to foster long-term engagements.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through personalized engagement and regular follow-up.

Revenue Generation & Sales:
  • Drive sales growth by promoting the clinic’s medical aesthetics services, including skincare treatments, body contouring, and laser therapies.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets as defined by senior management.
  • Develop customized pricing packages and promotional offers to attract new clientele.
  • Prepare detailed sales forecasts and monitor performance against targets.

Marketing & Branding:
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns, social media strategies, and promotional materials.
  • Represent the clinic at industry events, exhibitions, and community outreach programs to enhance brand visibility.
  • Identify opportunities for participation in local events, sponsorships, or partnerships that align with the brand’s positioning.

Operational Excellence:
  • Coordinate with the clinic operations team to ensure smooth implementation of new business initiatives.
  • Provide regular feedback to clinical and operational staff on client preferences and market demand.
  • Manage the business development budget and provide updates on the return on investment (ROI) for various initiatives.

Training & Development:
  • Train and mentor junior business development and sales staff.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in the medical aesthetics field and integrate new learning into business strategies.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
  • Revenue growth and achievement of sales targets.
  • Expansion of the client base and the number of new partnerships formed.
  • Customer satisfaction and retention rates.
  • Brand visibility and the number of successful marketing campaigns.
  • Return on investment (ROI) for business development activities.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related field; MBA or postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 4 years in a business development or sales role, preferably in the healthcare or medical aesthetics sector.
  • In-depth understanding of the medical aesthetics industry, including popular treatments, client demographics, and market trends.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales and revenue targets.
  • Willingness to travel locally for business meetings and client engagements.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements for healthcare operations in Nigeria

  •  Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Strategic thinker with a focus on results.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales management tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
