Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Officer at Sound Mind Health Partners in Abuja. The Medical Officer will be responsible for patient care, training, and collaborating with other members of the healthcare team.
Responsibilities
• Contributing clinical expertise to patient care and providing guidance to medical staff.
• Performing administrative duties and risk management.
• Ensuring the highest standards in patient care are maintained.
• Verifying complex diagnoses and facilitating treatment plans.
• Being updated on advancements in the field
• Contributing to medical research programs.
• Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards
• Ensuring consistent and accurate medical recordkeeping practices.
• Keeping staff updated on new healthcare regulations.
Requirements
• MBBS
• Registration with the Medical and dental Council of Nigeria as a Medical Practitioner
• Valid Annual Practicing License
• NYSC Discharge Certificate / Exemption
• Post NYSC experience
• Primaries in Psychiatry is an added advantage
• Psychiatry expe
rience is an added advantage
