Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Attend to patients at the front desk, providing excellent customer service to both private and HMO patients.
- Accurately file patient records and ensure they are readily accessible when needed.
- Request authorization codes for the treatment of HMO patients and guide them regarding their HMO coverage.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of patient information.
- Provide general administrative support to the hospital staff.
- Address patient inquiries and concerns efficiently and effectively.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care and record management.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a National Diploma (ND) in a relevant field.
- Bachelor's degree holders (B.Sc/B.A) must have completed their National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.
- No prior experience is required, but familiarity with HMO procedures and patient care protocols is advantageous.
- Must be quick to learn and open to receiving feedback and corrections.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle stressful situations calmly.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in record-keeping.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
