Karla is a cutting-edge contactless payment solution designed to streamline transactions and enhance convenience for both consumers and merchants. We are looking for energetic and self-driven students and youth corps members to join our team as Merchant Sales Agents, helping us expand Karla’s reach across various markets.Job Summary:

As a Merchant Sales Agents, you will be responsible for onboarding and acquiring new merchants to use Karla as their preferred contactless payment solution. Your role will involve direct outreach, education, and relationship-building with merchants, ensuring they understand the value of Karla and how it can improve their business operations.Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and approach potential merchants in assigned locations to onboard them to Karla.
• Educate merchants about the benefits of Karla and guide them through the onboarding process.
• Meet or exceed set targets for merchant sign-ups and transactions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants to ensure long-term use of Karla.
• Provide post-onboarding support to merchants to ensure smooth integration and usage.
• Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports on merchant acquisition progress and performance.
• Gather feedback from merchants to relay to the product development and customer support teams.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in sales, business development, or merchant acquisition, preferably in a fintech or payment solutions environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Sales-driven and results-oriented.
• Strong persuasion and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with mobile payments and digital transactions is a plus.
• Enthusiasm for technology and fintech solutions.
• Familiarity with the local merchant landscape and small business sector.
• A high school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required).
