Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Metering Engineer to join our team in Rivers State. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in metering operations, flow calibration, and maintenance of Small Volume Provers (SVPs) and other metering systems. This role requires hands-on expertise in calibration, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities
- Support the metering services unit and technical operations department.
- Operate and calibrate metering equipment such as SVPs and various field instruments.
- Perform flow meter calibration and ensure compliance with API, ISO, and other regulations.
- Maintain metering systems for reliability and minimize downtime through effective repairs and maintenance.
- Keep detailed records of calibrations, modifications, and test results for audits.
- Ensure metering systems meet industry and company standards.
- Monitor inventory for maintenance and calibration purposes.
- Adhere to company policies, including quality, health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A degree or HND in Engineering or a related field. A master’s degree is an advantage.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Metering Engineer, with expertise in operating SVPs.
- Experience in the oil and gas servicing industry is essential.
- Strong knowledge of industry procedures, standards, and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
