Job Description
- We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated ICT Officer with specialized expertise in Microsoft Dynamics and systems support.
- This position offers an excellent opportunity for a professional who is passionate about IT systems management, troubleshooting, and ensuring the seamless operation of our ICT infrastructure.
- The ICT Officer will play a key role in managing and maintaining the company’s ICT systems, with a strong focus on Microsoft Dynamics and ICT infrastructure support.
- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in implementing, configuring, and providing user support for Microsoft Dynamics, as well as ensuring the smooth functioning of ICT systems within the organization.
- You will work closely with the ICT Manager to troubleshoot technical issues, ensure system optimization, and support ICT infrastructure to enhance business operations.
Microsoft Dynamics Support:
- Administer, configure, and maintain the Microsoft Dynamics platform to meet business requirements.
- Provide expert support to users of Microsoft Dynamics, including troubleshooting, training, and problem resolution.
- Assist in the customization and optimization of Dynamics workflows, modules, and functionalities to improve efficiency.
- Monitor system performance, security, and integrity within Microsoft Dynamics.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions using Dynamics.
- Manage and maintain the company’s ICT infrastructure, including servers, networks, databases, and other essential systems.
- Provide day-to-day technical support for hardware and software issues, ensuring quick resolution to minimize downtime.
- Support users by installing, configuring, and updating ICT systems, applications, and equipment.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of ICT systems to ensure high availability and performance.
- Oversee data backups, disaster recovery plans, and system security measures to protect company assets.
- Ensure adherence to best practices for ICT infrastructure and implement network upgrades when necessary.
- Conduct regular systems audits, troubleshoot issues, and implement preventative maintenance across the network.
- Manage IT inventory, including hardware, software, and licenses, ensuring compliance and up-to-date records.
- Lead ICT-related projects such as system migrations, upgrades, and installations.
- Ensure proper documentation of all IT processes, system configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
- Train staff on Microsoft Dynamics and other relevant systems to improve proficiency and efficiency.
- Provide ongoing support to users to ensure they are leveraging ICT systems optimally.
- Work with external vendors for ICT support, system upgrades, and new software implementations.
- Manage vendor relationships, ensuring service levels are met, and collaborate on ICT project execution.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in ICT systems support, with a strong focus on Microsoft Dynamics.
- Proven track record of managing ICT infrastructure within a corporate environment and manufacturing environment.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics, including configuration, customization, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of ICT infrastructure components (e.g., networks, servers, hardware).
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, and other enterprise-level systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex ICT issues.
- Experience with backup systems, data security, and disaster recovery planning.
- Good understanding of network protocols, system administration, and cloud-based services.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with end-users, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Project management experience is a plus.
- Primarily office-based i.e fully onsite
- Role involves management of system installations or resolve critical technical issues.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks with competing priorities.
