Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Create a Prepared Environment: Design and maintain a well-organized and inviting Montessori classroom that promotes independent learning and exploration.
- Lesson Planning and Implementation: Develop and implement individualized lesson plans that cater to the unique needs and interests of each student.
- Guide and Support Students: Observe, guide, and support students as they engage in self-directed learning activities, providing gentle corrections and encouragement as needed.
- Assessment and Record-Keeping: Continuously assess student progress, maintaining accurate records of student development, including academic, social, and emotional growth.
- Communication with Parents: Establish and maintain open communication with parents, providing regular updates on student progress and involving parents in the educational process.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a peaceful and respectful classroom environment, establishing clear expectations and encouraging positive behavior.
- Collaboration with Colleagues: Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members to ensure a cohesive and supportive educational environment.
Requirements:
