Job Summary
We're seeking a skilled 3D Animator with a strong emphasis on previs and Maya and storytelling for our innovative projects. The ideal candidate excels in character animation, with solid experience in film, television, VFX, or game production. Proficiency in Blender is essential, particularly in rigging, procedural motion and physics. We value candidates who blend technical expertise with artistic abilities to create engaging movie moments that resonate with audiences. Talents in drawing, and modeling along with an understanding of film theory, editing principles, performance and previs/maya techniques is crucial. We want a storyteller who enjoys team collaboration to tell outstanding narratives.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Create animated 3D sequences using Blender that demonstrate strong storytelling and cinematic sensibilities
- Design and implement character animations using keyframing, mocap editing, and procedural techniques
- Develop engaging shot compositions and camera movements to enhance narrative impact
- Set up and manage complex animation control rigs for characters and objects
- Implement and fine-tune ragdoll physics simulations for dynamic character interactions
- Apply film theory and editing principles to create cohesive and impactful animated sequences
- Integrate AI tools and techniques to optimize workflow and enhance creative output
- Adapt animations for use in Unity game engine environments
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Blender for 3D animation and previs
- Expertise in creating and working with animation control rigs
- Strong understanding of character animation principles and techniques
- Experience with mocap editing and keyframe animation
- Proficiency in film editing principles and their application to 3D animated sequences
- Solid grasp of film theory, including narrative structure, pacing, and visual storytelling techniques
- Creative storyteller with a passion for creating worlds and telling stories.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to creating outstanding experiences.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage complex projects independently
- Adaptable and eager to learn new technologies and techniques
