Job Overview:
We seek an experienced Sales Manager with a strong background in the packaging industry to lead our sales initiatives and drive revenue growth. The successful candidate will develop and execute effective sales strategies, build and maintain relationships with key clients, and ensure customer satisfaction through exceptional service delivery.
Job Responsibilities:
· Create, implement, and drive strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability.
· Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored packaging solutions.
· Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities, emerging trends, and competitor activity.
· Coordinate sales efforts with the marketing team to execute campaigns, product launches, and other initiatives.
· Manage, motivate, and guide the sales team to ensure high performance, providing training and development opportunities where needed.
· Ensure top-quality service and support are provided to clients, addressing their concerns and feedback promptly.
· Generate regular sales reports, analyze performance data, and provide insights to senior management for informed decision-making.
· Monitor sales budgets, optimize resource allocation, and control operational costs to meet financial targets.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Minimum of 10 years in a sales role within the packaging industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification is a plus.
· Extensive knowledge of the packaging industry, including market trends, product innovations, and key players.
· Strong leadership and people management skills, with a proven ability to build and lead high-performing sales teams.
· Proficient in using data and market insights to drive decisions and improve sales
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
· Demonstrated expertise in negotiating contracts, closing deals, and managing accounts effectively.
· Proficient in CRM software and MS Office, with the ability to quickly learn new sales tools and software.
