Network Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design and configure network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and other network systems. Implement network setups based on project specifications and company needs.
• Regularly monitor network performance to ensure uptime and troubleshoot issues. Respond to and resolve network-related incidents or requests.
• Implement and enforce network security protocols, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption. Perform regular security audits to identify vulnerabilities.
• Diagnose and resolve complex network-related issues, minimizing downtime and disruptions. Work with vendors and service providers to resolve problems that cannot be fixed internally.
• Maintain clear, accurate network documentation, including network configurations, topology diagrams, and inventory management.
• Work closely with IT and development teams to integrate network infrastructure with other systems. Collaborate on larger projects involving new technology and infrastructure upgrades.
• Continuously assess and optimize the network to ensure efficient operation and to handle increasing demands.
• Plan and execute network upgrades, patches, and replacements in line with technology improvements and organizational requirements.
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers for hardware, software, and connectivity services.
• Provide technical support to internal users, troubleshooting network issues. Educate staff on best practices for network usage and security.

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of experience as a network engineer
• BSc. Degree in Elect/elect, Computer science or or similar course of study
