While we report issues and happenings from accross the country, our focus and attention is on the Southeast region of Nigeria.
Role Description
This is a freelance remote role for a News Reporter at SouthEast Reporters. The News Reporter will be responsible for news writing, creating press releases, journalism, and reporting on various topics relevant to the audience.
Qualifications
- News Writing, Journalism, and Reporting skills
- An information officer (staff of govt ministries of Information) in the southeast states, is an added advantage.
- Experience in writing press releases
- Strong writing skills
- Knowledge of journalistic principles and practices
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Excellent research and fact-checking abilities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field
