We are seeking a reliable and vigilant Security Guard to join our team at our hotel in Enugu. The ideal candidate will ensure the safety and security of our guests, employees, and property in the evenings. (Shift is 6 pm to 6 am) Join our team and help us maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all!

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or hazards.
- Provide a visible and reassuring security presence for guests and staff.
- Monitoring activities around the hotel and reporting any suspicious behavior.
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies.
- Control access to the property and enforce security protocols.
- Maintain a log of activities, incidents, and irregularities.
- Ensure all external and security lighting are functional and turned on and off at appropriate times
- Monitor and perform the electricity switch-over between transformer and generator lines
- Check and maintain generator fluid levels, including water, oil, and diesel, to ensure optimal operation
- May welcome customers and assist guests during check-in or with general inquiries.
- Provides excellent customer service.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Education: Minimum of Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSCE).
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a security guard or in a similar role.
Additional Requirements
- Honest, disciplined, and trustworthy with a high sense of responsibility.
- Willingness to perform additional tasks as needed.
- Must be physically fit and able to stand or patrol for extended periods.
- Polite, customer-focused attitude and willingness to assist guests and visitors
