Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain scalable server-side applications using Node.js and related frameworks (e.g., Express, NestJS).
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate with front-end applications and third-party services.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
- Work with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Debug and resolve technical issues, ensuring system reliability.
- Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code following best practices.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, UI/UX designers, and product managers to deliver seamless applications.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Node.js and back-end development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience with a minimum of 3 years as a Node.js Developer
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience with Node.js frameworks like Express.js or NestJS.
- Knowledge of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
- Familiarity with database management systems (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Firebase).
- Experience with API development, integration, and documentation.
- Understanding containerization and deployment using Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Knowledge of Git and version control workflows.
- Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
