NYSC Corps Field Pharmacist / Pharmacologist

We are seeking a diligent and motivated NYSC Corps Member to serve as a Field Pharmacist/Pharmacologist with our team. This role offers valuable hands-on experience in pharmaceutical services, drug safety, and community health initiatives. Outstanding performers will have the opportunity to be retained with us upon successful completion of their service year.

• Dispense prescription medications accurately, providing patient counseling on usage and potential side effects.
• Conduct regular inventory checks, ensuring compliance with all pharmaceutical regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to monitor and report adverse drug reactions and therapeutic outcomes.
• Lead and participate in community outreach programs on drug safety, abuse prevention, and proper medication use.
• Document patient records, dispensing logs, and maintain inventory of pharmaceutical supplies.
• Support mobile health camps, outreach activities, and patient education initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Pharmacology from an accredited institution.
• Currently enrolled in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and patient counseling.
• Excellent communication skills, with a passion for community health.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to quality patient care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in field settings.
