Job Summary
We are seeking for NYSC members who are highly analytical and detail-oriented Business and Data Analyst to support data-driven decision-making and business process improvements. The ideal candidate will collect, analyze, and interpret complex data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business growth. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, proficiency in data analytics tools, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis
Gather and analyze business requirements to identify areas for improvement.
Work closely with stakeholders to define project objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Develop business process models and recommend optimizations.
Assist in the design and implementation of business strategies based on data insights.
Prepare reports and presentations to communicate business trends and findings.
Data Analysis
Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources to generate insights.
Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support decision-making.
Identify trends, correlations, and anomalies in large datasets.
Utilize statistical techniques to interpret data and forecast future business performance.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing data validation techniques.
Technical & Analytical Tasks
Use tools like SQL, Excel, Power BI, or Tableau to analyze and present data.
Perform predictive modeling and statistical analysis.
Support automation of data collection and reporting processes.
Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to improve data infrastructure.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
Knowledge of statistical methods and predictive analytics.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
