Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Identify and approach potential vendors, such as local shop owners, small business owners, and artisans, to join the Gwammu marketplace.
- Clearly explain Gwammu’s benefits and value proposition to potential vendors.
- Assist vendors with the onboarding process, including registering their shops on the platform and uploading products.
- Act as a liaison between Gwammu and vendors to address questions and resolve challenges.
- Meet weekly and monthly targets for vendor recruitment and onboarding.
- Provide feedback to the management team on-field activities and vendor needs.
- Represent Gwammu professionally and maintain its positive reputation in the community.
Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Sales or marketing experience is an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of local languages is a plus.
- Target-driven, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
- Familiarity with local markets and vendor ecosystems is a bonus.
