Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Online Sales Assistant with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in both online and offline sales. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing online sales platforms, engaging with customers, processing orders, and supporting general sales activities. The Online Sales Assistant will also assist in offline sales efforts, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, organized, and has a passion for sales and e-commerce.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain online sales platforms, ensuring all products are accurately listed and up-to-date.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries through social media, email, and online chat.
  • Process orders, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of products.
  • Track and update product inventory across online platforms.
  • Implement strategies to drive traffic and increase sales through various online channels.
  • Engage with customers online, providing product information, recommendations, and solutions to their inquiries.
  • Address customer complaints and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Follow up with customers post-purchase to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
  • Assist in selling products through offline channels, including in-store sales or pop-up events.
  • Handle face-to-face customer interactions, providing excellent service and ensuring a smooth sales experience.
  • Process offline sales transactions and manage sales records.
  • Assist in developing and executing sales strategies to meet monthly sales targets.
  • Track and analyze sales data, reporting on key metrics and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Provide feedback on customer preferences and market trends to improve product offerings.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote products through social media and other online marketing channels.
  • Assist in running promotional campaigns and sales events to boost sales.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, updating databases with customer and order information.
  • Assist with any other administrative duties related to sales operations as required.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of sales experience, with a focus on both online and offline sales.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Minimum of SSCE or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong understanding of online sales platforms, including social media marketplaces (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp) and e-commerce websites.
  • Experience with offline sales is an advantage.
  • Strong negotiation and customer service skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to engage with customers professionally and build strong relationships.
  • Basic knowledge of using computers, smartphones, and sales management software.
  • Proficiency in using social media for product promotion and customer engagement.
  • Female candidate preferred due to job requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
  • Proactive and result-oriented with a passion for sales.


Remuneration: NGN 65,000
