Job Summary

As an Operational Attendant, you will play a key role in ensuring that cinema operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will provide exceptional customer service, maintain cleanliness, and assist in various areas including ticketing, concessions, and general cinema maintenance.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers professionally and courteously.
  • Address customer queries, provide information on movie schedules, and assist with seat selections.
  • Operate the ticketing system to sell movie tickets.
  • Process payments, issue receipts, and ensure accurate cash and card handling.
  • Manage the sale of snacks, drinks, and other concession items.
  • Ensure concession stands are fully stocked, clean, and organized at all times.
  • Monitor the theater premises for customer safety and report any hazards or disturbances.
  • Follow safety protocols and assist in emergency procedures when necessary.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and food handling regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with cinema policies and customer interaction guidelines.
  • Direct customers to their seats and manage crowd control during movie screenings.
  • Ensure timely starts of movies and assist in resolving any seating or customer issues.
  • Assist with special events, promotional activities, and other operational tasks as assigned by the Cinema Manager.
  • Perform other general duties to ensure smooth operations within the cinema.




Requirements:

  • Minimum of SSCE or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in a customer service or retail role is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in handling cash and operating ticketing systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and manage physical tasks as needed.
  • Commitment to following safety protocols and maintaining a secure, clean environment.
