Role Description
Operational Strategy and Management
Develop, implement, and optimize operational processes and procedures that align with The Ladymaker’s business objectives and growth strategy.
Oversee the management of day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and consistency in production, inventory, logistics, and distribution.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure that operational needs are met, including design, marketing, sales, and production teams.
Continuously assess and improve operational workflows to enhance performance and meet the brand's quality standards.
Production and Inventory Oversight
Manage and monitor the production process from concept to delivery, ensuring that products are made on time and meet the brand's standards for quality and design.
Oversee inventory management, ensuring that materials and finished goods are properly tracked and stored to minimize waste and stockouts.
Work with the sourcing and production teams to ensure that all raw materials and resources are available in a timely manner to meet production deadlines.
Logistics and Distribution
Supervise the logistics and supply chain operations, including shipment coordination, warehousing, and delivery to customers.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize delivery timelines and reduce costs without compromising quality.
Ensure that distribution networks and partnerships are aligned with The Ladymaker’s customer experience standards and goals.
Team Leadership and Staff Management
Lead and manage a team of operational staff, fostering a culture of efficiency, accountability, and collaboration.
Identify and address performance issues and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the team.
Collaborate with HR to maintain appropriate staffing levels and optimize team roles to meet operational needs.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to ensure continuous team improvement.
Customer Service and Quality Assurance
Ensure that The Ladymaker's products consistently meet customer expectations for quality, design, and delivery.
Collaborate with the customer service team to resolve operational issues related to order fulfillment, product quality, and customer complaints.
Regularly review feedback from customers and incorporate insights into operational improvements.
Reporting and Continuous Improvement
Provide regular reports to senior leadership on the status of operations, including production progress, and operational challenges.
Utilize data-driven insights to identify areas for operational improvement and implement effective solutions.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, incorporating them into The Ladymaker’s operations to maintain competitive advantage.
Qualifications
- Experience in operations management, inventory management, and quality control
- Knowledge of the fashion industry and supply chain processes
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field
