Job Title: Operations Manager

Are you an operational leader with a passion for high-end fashion and a strong drive to improve efficiency and performance? Our client, a luxury female fashion brand, is looking for an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to join their team. Working closely with the CEO and leadership team, this role is pivotal in driving the company's growth ambitions by shaping and executing its operational strategy.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operational Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement strategic operational plans that align with the brand’s overarching business goals.
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring processes are efficient, optimized, and scalable.
  • Collaborate closely with design and production teams to ensure smooth sourcing, development, and delivery of products to market.

2. Leadership & Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Work alongside senior executives to shape responsibilities and enhance cross-functional collaboration.

3. Performance Management

  • Monitor performance metrics across all operational areas, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Ensure KPIs are met consistently, supporting overall business objectives.

4. Resource Allocation

  • Manage resource allocation, including staff, technology, and capital, to maximize efficiency.
  • Oversee the operational budget, ensuring that financial targets are met and resources are used optimally.

5. Process Improvement

  • Identify and implement best practices for operational efficiency, quality enhancement, and cost reduction.
  • Utilize data analytics to inform decisions and drive improvements across all operations.

6. Risk Management

  • Develop and maintain policies to mitigate operational risks, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Profile
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with a drive to innovate and improve.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate across multiple teams.
  • Deep understanding of the fashion development process and production cycles.
  • Minimum of 5 years of operations experience, ideally in luxury or high-end fashion.
  • Experience working within a complex organizational structure, with a blend of strategic and pragmatic approaches.
  • Ability to connect with diverse teams, fostering cooperation and unity in achieving operational goals.
  • Based in Lagos; must be a self-starter with a collaborative team mindset.
