Operations Manager - Ride-Hailing Company
Job Title: Operations Manager
Reports To: CEO
Location: Nigeria
Job Summary: The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the company's daily operations, ensuring efficient and effective execution of business strategies, and driving operational excellence. The OM will work closely with the CEO to implement the company's vision and goals, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and oversee business strategies, plans, and procedures.
- Set comprehensive goals for business growth and success.
- Establish policies and procedures that promote company culture and vision.
- Oversee daily operations and ensure the work of executives is aligned with organizational objectives.
- Lead employees with an example, motivating and supporting them to achieve their best.
- Analyze and interpret data and metrics to drive performance improvements.
- Maintain relationships with partners, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with external regulations and company policies.
- Develop and monitor budgets, goals, and business plans for assigned work units.
- Serve as a key member of the senior management team, collaborating with the CEO and other executives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Previous experience as a OM OR COO or in a senior operations role.
- In-depth knowledge of different business functions such as HR, finance, marketing, etc.
- Hands-on experience in strategic planning, business development, and fundraising.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to think critically.
- Familiarity with IT and business infrastructure.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
