Job Description



We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee the daily operations of our food processing and manufacturing unit.

The successful candidate will ensure the highest product quality while maximizing profitability.

The Production Manager will lead a team, setting standards, procedures, and processes for food production while ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.



Key Responsibilities



Direct and supervise food production staff to ensure smooth operations.

Set and implement production standards, procedures, and guidelines to maintain high-quality food products.

Oversee the hiring, orientation, and training of both technical and non-technical staff, assigning roles based on skills and workload.

Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing team to develop strategies for introducing new or seasonal products.

Enforce food safety and health/safety protocols throughout the production process.

Work closely with the Quality Control team to ensure all products meet internal and external standards.

Ensure compliance with all relevant food production regulations and legislation.

Act as the Food Safety Team leader, managing and maintaining strict food safety policies.



Requirements



Proven experience as a Production Manager in the food industry.

Proficiency in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools.

Bachelor’s degree (BSc or HND) in Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

Strong leadership, time management, and decision-making skills.

Knowledge of food safety compliance and regulations.
