About Us: The Sumi is a renowned writing trio known for their powerful and culturally resonant theatrical productions. As we prepare for our upcoming international production, we are seeking a highly organized and proactive Operations Manager to join our team. This individual will be responsible for the administrative and logistical support of actors and production staff during the shoot.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actor Support: Ensure that all actors have the necessary support during the production. This includes managing their travel arrangements, bookings, and any other on-set needs.
- Administrative Coordination: Assist with the smooth running of daily operations on set, providing administrative support to the film director, production director, and other key stakeholders.
- Logistical Oversight: Coordinate logistics such as scheduling, transportation, and accommodations for cast and crew, ensuring a seamless experience for all involved.
- Liaison Role: Act as the central point of contact for the production team, ensuring effective communication between costume, makeup, location scouting, and other departments.
- On-Set Availability: Be present on shoot days to respond to any immediate needs or requirements from the actors or production team.
- Vendor Management: Work closely with vendors and suppliers to organize location scouting, catering, and other essential services.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of all logistical and administrative activities and provide regular updates to senior management.
Requirements:
- BA Certified: The candidate must hold a BA certification (British Actors certification) or its equivalent.
- Experience: Proven track record of working on film or theatrical productions, with verifiable references from previous employers.
- International Passport: Must hold a valid international passport and be willing to travel internationally as required by the production.
- Administrative Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with experience handling bookings, travel arrangements, and on-set needs.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively between different departments and manage actor requests.
- Team Player: Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, maintaining a calm and professional attitude.
