Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Operations & Production Management:
- Oversee and manage daily operations across multiple business units to ensure seamless coordination.
- Supervise production processes, ensuring adherence to the company's delivery timeline rule for on-time completion and dispatch of orders.
- Monitor and optimize workflow to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards in all operational activities.
Quality Control & Assurance:
- Implement and maintain quality control processes to meet industry standards and customer expectations.
- Conduct regular inspections, audits, and process evaluations to identify and rectify defects or inefficiencies.
- Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to uphold high-quality output.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.
Project Management:
- Plan, execute, and oversee operational and production projects to improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and workflow.
- Apply project management principles to optimize resources, timelines, and deliverables.
- Track project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective measures when necessary.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and train production and operations teams to maximize performance.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to enhance staff productivity.
Financial & Resource Management:
- Collaborate with accounts and procurement teams to ensure timely payment and availability of raw materials and production resources.
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Work closely with sales, customer service, and logistics teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
- Address production or operational challenges and resolve issues that may impact delivery timelines.
- Engage with external stakeholders, including suppliers and regulatory bodies, to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience
- BSc. Degree in a relevant course of study
