Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Allocate and manage human resources, equipment, materials, and budgets effectively, ensuring optimal utilization.
  • Coordinate with various teams, including engineers, technicians, suppliers, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks to ensure project success.
  • Negotiate and administer contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Ensure projects adhere to industry standards and regulations regarding quality and safety.
  • Track project progress, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions to maintain project goals.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure projects are financially viable. 
  • Maintaining project documentation, including project plans, reports, and communications.
  • Processing paperwork and documentation, managing internal and external communications.
  • Handling travel arrangements, maintaining employee records and files
  • Implementing and monitoring operational procedures, tracking project timelines and budgets
  • Identifying areas for operational improvement and implementing changes as well as ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Managing procurement processes, including vendor relations, tracking expenses and budget allocation, processing invoices and payments.
  • Providing administrative support to team members, coordinating staff training and development and managing employee schedules 


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management or related field.
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in administrative or operations management roles.
  • Minimum 2.1 CGPA.
  • Proven experience in project management and operations.
  • Excellent ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and maintain detailed records 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with various stakeholders 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
  • Proficiency in Project Management Tools 
  • Ability to identify issues, analyze data, and implement solutions
  • Must be able to thrive in fast-paced environments, readiness to move to different locations for long periods as work dictates, embrace challenges as opportunities and consistently push for excellence practically.
  • High level of accuracy and meticulousness in handling administrative tasks 
  • A keen ability to navigate challenges, drive efficiency, fast paced situation specific research and solution proposal/report writing- presentation and deliver practical, high-impact results is essential.
  • Understanding of oil and gas industry operations and regulations.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies.
  • Project. Management (PMP) and other training certificates will be added advantage
  • Male preferably
