Paediatric Nurse

Responsibilities:

• Conducting physical assessments: Evaluating the physical and emotional health of paediatric patients.
• Administering medications: Giving medications as prescribed by physicians.
• Performing treatments and procedures: Carrying out treatments and procedures, such as wound care and injections.
• Providing emotional support: Offering emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
• Monitoring vital signs: Tracking patients' vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
• Collaborating with healthcare teams: Working with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Communicating with healthcare teams: Sharing patient information with healthcare teams.
• Reporting concerns and changes: Notifying physicians and other healthcare professionals of any concerns or changes in patient condition.
• Neonatal care: Caring for newborns, including those in neonatal intensive care units (NICUs).
• Paediatric intensive care: Caring for critically ill children in paediatric intensive care units (PICUs).

Requirements:

• Female paediatric nurses with at least 4 years of experience
• Must be between 35-45 years old
• Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care
• High personal and dental hygienic standards
• Must reside in Enugu
