Job Summary: The Partnership Development Lead will be responsible for identifying, securing, and managing partnerships with corporate bodies, multinational donors, alumni associations, and state governments. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional networking and relationship-building skills who can effectively communicate our mission and the impact of our work
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic partnership plan to secure funding and endorsements from corporate bodies, multinational donors, alumni associations, and state governments.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with potential partners and sponsors.
- Research, prepare and present compelling proposals, presentations, and reports to prospective partners.
- Negotiate partnership agreements and ensure mutual benefits and alignment with our mission.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align partnership strategies with organizational goals and initiatives.
- Maintain ongoing communication with partners, providing updates on the initiative's progress and impact.
- Accountable, track and report on partnership development activities, including progress towards targets and goals.
- Represent the organization at relevant events, conferences, and meetings to promote our initiative and expand our network.
- Stay informed about trends and opportunities in the education and remote learning sectors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Education, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- At least 3 years of experience in partnership development, fundraising, or business development, preferably in the education sector.
- Proven track record of securing partnerships and funding from corporate bodies, donors, and government entities.
- Strong network within the corporate, governmental, and non-profit sectors.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective partnership strategies.
- Passion for education and improving STEM outcomes through innovative solutions.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple partnerships and projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant tools for tracking partnership activities and progress.
