Job Summary

The Personal Assistant (PA) to the Managing Director (MD) is responsible for providing high-level administrative and organizational support to the MD. The role involves managing the MD’s schedule, correspondence, and tasks to ensure efficient operations. The PA acts as a key liaison between the MD, internal teams, and external stakeholders.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Administrative Support:

  • Manage the MD’s calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Organize and prepare materials for meetings, including agendas, reports, and presentations.
  • Handle correspondence, emails, and phone calls on behalf of the MD.


Communication and Coordination:

  • Act as the first point of contact for the MD, screening calls, visitors, and inquiries.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication.
  • Draft and edit correspondence, reports, and other documentation as required.


Task and Project Management:

  • Assist the MD in planning and executing projects by tracking deadlines, progress, and deliverables.
  • Conduct research and compile data to support decision-making.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and manage discreet tasks with professionalism.


Travel and Event Planning:

  • Organize travel itineraries, bookings, and accommodations for the MD.
  • Coordinate and manage logistics for corporate events, conferences, and meetings.


Office and Personal Assistance:

  • Oversee and manage personal tasks for the MD as needed.
  • Ensure the office environment is well-organized and equipped to support the MD’s efficiency.
  • Anticipate the MD’s needs and proactively address them.


Requirements:

  • 5 years experience
  • Degree in a related field
  • Great organizational skills
