PA to a Fashion Designer

Responsibilities:  

• Manage the designer’s schedule, including appointments, fittings, meetings, and travel arrangements.  
• Handle correspondence, emails, and phone calls promptly and professionally. 
• Organize and maintain files and records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy. 
• Assist in coordinating production schedules for Ready-to-Wear and B2B projects. 
• Communicate with suppliers, manufacturers, and clients to ensure deadlines are met. 
• Oversee the planning and execution of bridal wear consultations, fittings, and deliveries. 
• Manage inventory of fabrics, trims, and materials, ensuring availability for all projects. 
• Assist the designer with trend research, mood board creation, and fabric sourcing. 
• Take detailed notes during design meetings, fittings, and creative discussions. 
• Provide hands-on support during photoshoots, fashion shows, and collection launches. 
• Coordinate and prepare for client presentations, fittings, and fashion shows. 
• Manage showroom appointments, ensuring collections are impeccably presented. 
• Handle personal errands and ad-hoc tasks to ensure smooth daily operations for the designer. 
• Seamlessly integrate professional and personal schedules for maximum efficiency.  

Requirements:  

• This role is for females only
• A university degree in a relevant field, such as Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, or a related discipline. 
• Proven fashion background with knowledge of design principles, trends, and production processes. 
• Exceptional spoken and written communication skills; must be well-spoken and articulate. 
• A creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and trend forecasting. 
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop. 
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. 
• A valid driver’s license and the ability to drive. 
• Foreign education or exposure to international fashion trends is a significant plus.
