Personal Driver

Responsibilities:

Driving Duties:

• Provide safe and efficient transportation for the employer and/or their family members to various destinations including work, appointments, social events, and other personal errands.
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely arrivals, adjusting as necessary for traffic or weather conditions.
• Ensure the vehicle is fueled, clean, and well-maintained at all times.

Vehicle Maintenance:

• Conduct regular inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in optimal condition.
• Schedule and manage routine maintenance and any necessary repairs.
• Keep the vehicle's interior and exterior clean and presentable.

Time Management:

• Punctually adhere to schedules and manage time effectively to ensure the employer's itinerary is followed precisely.
• Keep track of and report travel times, delays, and other logistical information as needed.

Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to all local driving laws and regulations.
• Practice defensive driving techniques to ensure the safety of passengers and pedestrians.
• Ensure all passengers use seat belts and follow safety protocols.

Confidentiality:

• Maintain confidentiality and privacy regarding the employer’s personal and professional matters.
• Exercise discretion and professionalism at all times.

Additional Duties:

• Assist with loading and unloading luggage, groceries, or other items as needed.
• Run personal errands for the employer as requested.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the employer.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a professional driver or chauffeur.
• Excellent knowledge of local traffic laws and routes.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle unforeseen circumstances with ease.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• High level of discretion and professionalism.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to perform minor vehicle repairs is a plus.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions precisely
• Ability to sit for long periods while driving.
• Capability to assist with lifting and carrying luggage or other items as needed.
• Ability to maintain focus and attention on the road for extended periods.

License/Certification:

• Driver's license (Preferred)

Location: The candidate must reside in Ajah/Lekki

Remuneration: NGN 70,000 - 90,000 per month
