Job Summary

Te Personal Driver will be responsible for navigating through various routes, maintaining the vehicle's cleanliness and upkeep, and prioritizing the Managing Director's safety and comfort during travel.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport the Managing Director to and from various locations, including meetings, appointments, and events.
  • Adhere to traffic laws and regulations while maintaining a high level of professionalism and discretion.
  • Assist with loading and unloading of luggage, packages, or other items as required.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the vehicle, including regular fueling, cleaning, and scheduling maintenance and repairs.
  • Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules, including oil changes, tire rotations, and other necessary services.
  • Stay updated on traffic and weather conditions to ensure timely and efficient travel routes.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills, including clear and timely coordination with the Managing Director regarding schedule changes or additional transportation requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion regarding the Managing Director's activities, conversations, and sensitive information.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of SSCE/WAEC or equivalent is typically required.
  • 2+ years work experience.
  • Previous experience as a professional driver, preferably in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with luxury vehicles or executive transportation is a plus. Skills:
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Excellent knowledge of local traffic laws, regulations, and efficient routes.
  • Strong navigational skills and familiarity with GPS navigation systems.
  • Professionalism, punctuality, and reliability.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize safety and demonstrate defensive driving techniques.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changes in schedule or additional transportation needs.
  • Neat appearance and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and occasional travel.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
  • Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge and/or willingness to learn.
