About Us:

Afrihood is seeking a skilled and versatile Personal Videographer/Content Producer to work closely with our host to produce high-quality media content.

Job Summary:

We're looking for a talented individual to capture the host's activities, interviews, and events, and produce engaging content for social media platforms. The ideal candidate will have excellent videography skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

1. Accompany the host to various events, meetings, and locations to capture footage.

2. Collaborate with the host to develop concepts, scripts, and storyboards for media content (documentaries, interviews, vlogs, etc.).

3. Record high-quality video and audio footage using industry-standard equipment.

4. Edit and post-produce content using Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.

5. Ensure timely delivery of content, meeting deadlines and quality standards.

6. Conduct interviews, gather testimonials, and capture B-roll footage.

7. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the host's brand, messaging, and visual identity.

8. Optimize content for social media platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter).

9. Collaborate with the host's team to ensure consistency across all content.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Film/Video Production, Communications, or related field.

2. 3+ years of experience in videography and video production.

3. Proficient in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).

4. Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.

5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

6. Strong attention to detail, ensuring high-quality output.

Nice to Have:

1. Experience with motion graphics, animation, or 3D modeling.

2. Knowledge of photography principles and practices.

3. Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation.

4. Certification in videography, editing, or related field.
