Pharmacist

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately according to prescriptions and verify drug interactions
• Provide medication counseling and guidance to patients regarding proper usage, side effects, and storage
• Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and maintaining appropriate stock levels
• Ensure compliance with all relevant pharmacy laws, regulations, and professional standards
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care
• Process and verify insurance claims and maintain accurate patient records
• Conduct medication therapy management services
• Administer vaccinations and other clinical services as needed
• Participate in quality assurance programs

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy
• Current registration with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a licensed pharmacist
• Excellent knowledge of pharmaceutical calculations and drug information
• Strong understanding of pharmacy management systems
• Current knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations in Nigeria

• Full-time position
• May include weekends and public holidays on rotation
• Shift work as required

Remuneration: NGN 200,000 - 250,000
